In 2016, I went through a very difficult but transforming experience with burnout. At that time, the World Health Organization (WHO) was still far from acknowledging burnout as a complex syndrome resulting from chronic workplace stress.
More than one year later, after receiving help from my M.D., therapist, naturopath, reiki practitioner, and acupuncturist to name a few professionals, I was finally getting back on track. Healing food, high-quality supplements, Yoga and Qi Gong daily practices were essential to my recovery as well. I was committed, however, to never having this experience again.
We know quite well how the workforce is good at making us feel fully responsible for our own misfortune, but there was something about my behaviour that was off too.
Why was I a workaholic, i.e., addicted to work? What was I escaping from? Why was I missing the present moment trying to control the uncontrollable future? Why receiving external validation was still embedded in my soul? As an immigrant, why did I need to live as far from my roots?
Hypnosis helped me immensely to understand the root causes of my disrespectful behaviour towards myself. Also, I had the opportunity to process and release traumatic experiences from my body which gave me my vital energy back.
Hypnosis was so effective in answering my questions that I decided to support other people going through similar journeys.

Am I 100% recovered from the impact of horribly managed chronic stress? No, but I am on the right path. You will be too.
